Tulsa Drillers Hosted Largest Opening Day Crowd In Minor League Baseball

Tulsa set the minor league attendance mark Tuesday night with 5,000 fans on hand, more than any other minor league crowd in the country.

More than 5,000 people were at OneOK Field as the Drillers took on the Amarillo Sod Poodles. The Drillers lost 4-3.

Across the country, more than 100,000 fans turned out for 47 games.

The six-game opening homestand against Amarillo continues Wednesday night.
