An Osage County judge sentenced a man connected to the Irish mob to life in prison for giving the order to kill a Tulsa man.
Investigators said Zachary Millard used a contraband cell phone to help plan the murder of fellow Irish mob member Mitchell Roberts in 2021.
Police said three men with guns forced their way into Roberts home then shot him while he was sleeping.
Records show Millard was in prison for selling drugs and bringing contraband into jail and was on probation for burglary.
Six other mob members also pleaded guilty to charges related to the murder.
