A child is injured after a boat exploded and caught on fire at Bridgeview Marina on Lake Texoma Sunday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Authorities say a boat was drifting away from the gas fueling dock when the driver went to start the boat and a spark ignited gasoline fumes causing the explosion and the boat to catch on fire.

Authorities say Air Evac transported a 5-year-old to a burn center in Dallas, according to authorities.

Authorities say the child suffered burns to his arm and legs, with minor burns to his face.
