How would you like to be a kid again? An adults-only event at Discovery Lab lets you do just that.
It is called "Discovery After Dark" and the next one is coming up on February 2nd from 7-10 p.m.
Art is the theme and having fun is the goal. The event will have activities like tie-dye your own t-shirt and balloon splatter painting inspired by the movie The Princess Diaries.
Discovery After Dark also has food, drinks, cotton candy, a live DJ, and science demonstrations.
Education Manager of Informal Learning, Micah Firestone, said it is a great time to let loose, be a kid again, and explore everything the Discovery Lab has to offer.
"We see a lot of adults that are sometimes nervous to play in our space during the day with their kids because, of course, you do not want to look like you do not know about science and understand the activities," she continued saying, "This is a great chance to sort of leave those fears at home and come as you are."
Discovery After Dark is for those 21 and older. Tickets are $25 for members and $35 for non-members. You can purchase tickets here
