A pair of Tulsa restaurants announced plans to close this upcoming weekend.

Palace Cafe and Prairie Fire Pie on 15th Street and Peoria Avenue are both slated to close on Saturday.

The owner and chef James Shrader announced on the business's Facebook page that he sold the restaurants on Cherry Street in Tulsa and the final service would be on December 23.

Chef James cited the closure as a need to "slow down" after working in the Tulsa restaurant business for the past 28 years.
