BeHeard Movement In Tulsa Helps Those Experiencing Homelessness

December is National Giving Month. On this Good Life List with Mia Fleming, she's giving back with a local nonprofit.

A Tulsa organization called BeHeard Movement is creating real change for many people experiencing homelessness in the city.

The organization's founder, Evan Dougoud, said their voices are the foundation of the movement.

BeHeard started with Evan and his camera, finding people who didn't have a home and asking if they wanted to share their stories.

Evan spends donation money to provide dignity for people experiencing homelessness.

One of their projects is a shower trailer. The trailer keeps running thanks to donations and sponsors.

They have hot showers, heated walls, heated floors, and an AC for the summer months.

They have another trailer that's for haircuts, laundry, and extra showers.
