Tulsa police said a man died after being stabbed inside of an apartment at a complex near 61st and Garnett. Investigators said there is no information on a potential suspect.
On Monday, the Tulsa Police Department identified the victim as 51-year-old Galen Landrum. Police said he was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in his apartment and died shortly after.
According to police, officers were called to the Sugarberry Apartments just before 8 p.m. on Sunday evening. They said the victim’s daughter called police and told them her dad had been stabbed in the neck.
Homicide detectives are leading the investigation but say it is unclear who is responsible for the stabbing.
Investigators said two children were inside the apartment when the stabbing happened but it is unclear if they witnessed it.
