An overnight standoff at a downtown Tulsa restaurant ended with one person in custody.
Police say they received the call around 9:35 p.m. on Wednesday night.
According to police, it started after a verbal altercation between an employee and customers at Fat Guy's Burger Bar near North Greenwood Avenue and East Archer Street.
Police say the suspect pointed a weapon at customers who fled and called the police.
When officers arrived on the scene, the suspect barricaded himself inside the restaurant and climbed through the ceiling into the rafters, and entered the business space above the restaurant.
Police say after about five hours, the suspect surrendered without incident and was taken into custody.
The suspect is facing charges including assault with a deadly weapon and obstruction, according to police.
