Tulsa's Spartan College is launching a new partnership to get more pilots in the sky.
Spartan College says that with demand increasing the school will join with SkyWest Airlines to provide qualified students with scholarships and tuition reimbursements. The students then can have a job lined up with the nation's largest regional airline.
“We are excited for this new partnership with Spartan. This career pathway directly supports students on their journey to become commercial pilots,” said Tracy Gallo, SVP of Flight Operations at SkyWest.
SkyWest currently operates flights for Alaska, American, Delta, and United.
